Teal Street Center – A Proven and Needed Model

First conceived in 2002, Teal Street Center’s one-stop collective impact model has been tested in Juneau since 2013 and in other communities across the country. Studies by the McKinley Research Group (formerly McDowell Group) in 2008, 2010, 2017 and 2020 confirmed significant need and demand for one or more nonprofit centers. They also considered the significant short and long-term economic benefits of the project, as well as the client demographics, COVID-19 strategies and regional reach.
